HR Assistant/Specialist: Athlone - Excellent Career move for a Experienced HR Admin professional. HR Assistant/Specialist Role. Overall responsibility for managing all HR administration while ensuring key processes are delivered. To support the Head of HR implement a Human Resources Information System on site. Assist in the development, building, testing, and implementation of human resources databases and tools, Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and safe working practices. Responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive data in the carrying out of their role. Weekly and monthly departmental reporting, absence reporting, sick cert reporting, recruitment costs. First point of contact for all types of administration and leave. Liaising with management on long service awards, retirement and presentations promoting employee recognition. Manage probationary reviews to ensure timely completion. Responsible for monthly payroll preparation. Ensure training on payroll cover is up to date to facilitate smooth transition for holiday or absence cover. Ensure all timesheets are authorised correctly. Liaise with management on any queries. Deal with employee queries and requests regarding payroll information with the exception of tax queries. Assists in the management of non national employees including completion of work permit applications, etc. Organising exit interviews with leavers, Organising company events. Requirements for HR Specialist. Degree in HR Management or equivalent ideally CIPD qualified. 2 - 4 years direct HR support/administration capacity experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate directly with line managers. Strong knowledge of employment law, with some dealings with ER issues.
