This position will assist with the day-to-day operation of the HR function in strategic partnership with the business. The role is responsible for the implementation of all human resources activities to ensure the organisations ability to attract high-quality employees, as well as to train, develop and motivate employees to successfully deliver business goals. Understanding how to utilise effective human resources programmes to achieve strategic advantage is central to this role. Furthermore, the position will support continuous improvement practices in relation to company policies, quality systems, and FDA regulations. Responsibilities: Recruitment & Selection. Lead & plan recruitment campaigns in line with headcount forecasts which will include but is not limited to advising the business on organisation design and resource requirements, planning and executing recruitment campaigns, leading the HR aspects of candidate selection, advising hiring managers on candidate selection, ensuring all proper procedures and documentation is correctly in place when candidate offers are extended, completing the HR requirements with regard to onboarding new hires & facilitating the HR aspects of on boarding. Employee Relations. Provide advice and mentorship to managers on all aspects of employee relations to include but not limited to employee discipline, and performance issues by supporting Managers in the interpretation of company policies and procedures & at all times working within the legal framework. Lead where appropriate on investigations of employee allegations, making recommendations for corrective action to prevent recurrences. Act as an employee advocate to ensure fairness and due diligence is adhered to in line with our company values & within the legal framework. Proactively identifies potential employee issues by participating in functional management and employee meetings on a regular basis. Promote employee wellbeing so that employees remain productive & effective. Performance Management. Adhere to company guidelines & procedures in all aspects of performance management. Ensure that Managers and employees are fully appraised of these guidelines and procedures and are held accountable for adherence to same. Continuously contribute to improvement of HR processes and systems to support high performance work teams and drive waste and inefficiencies out of process. Support Managers on the Performance Management process to drive a culture of continuous performance management. Actively participate in & contribute within the HR global team on all aspects of building high performance teams within the organisation. Compensation & Benefits. Working with the Compensation team, drive high quality execution of core compensation and benefits programs and processes. Actively engage with the compensation team on all aspects of employee compensation reviews. Requirements: 8 years+ working as a Human Resources Business Partner in a highly regulated fast passed organisation (ideally Manufacturing environment) 4 of which should be at a senior level. Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline. Master’s Degree in HR or related discipline preferred but not essential. Strong written & oral communication skills with a demonstrable ability to delivery highly professional presentations. Ability to make the complex simple & draw conclusions from data a key attribute. Ability to establish effective relationships at all levels essential. High level of influencing skills required utilising problem solving critical thinking skills and methodologies to garner support. High level of personal motivation & initiative required working at times without all the desirable information or direction. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently while adapting individual working style to easily adjust to change when circumstance require. Proactive knowledge sharing essential.
