What you need to know. We are seeking a Systems Analyst for our healthcare client based in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be required to maintain and support systems, control system access, train users and work on specific IT projects for the organisation. This is a contract job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Work within procurement systems of the organisation. Setting up, maintaining & supporting procurement technology solutions. Control the system access of users. Provide training to end-users. Participate in organisational projects such as development of new systems and implementing enhancements. Liaise with organisational departments & customers during project definition, go-live and on-going basis. Reporting – departmental & projects. Database set-up, modification and testing. Work on main systems: Vocalpoint, Scanpoint, SAP, Procurement Data Warehouse and other ancillary systems for Requisitioning/Reporting. Troubleshooting, support and maintenance of software systems. Troubleshooting and support of hardware including printers and barcode scanners. Carry out validation checks and investigate issues, maintaining appropriate documentation. Conduct testing including functional, system and unit testing. What are we looking for? Qualified person to Degree level. Previous experience providing support for ICT systems. Experience of implementing ICT solutions, including hardware, software and workflows or other technology solutions which support business processes. Strong knowledge of MS Excel including use of formulae, functions and macros. Familiarity with database systems, such as MS Access, including writing SQL queries. Strong written & verbal communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Proven ability to work to deadlines. A logical and pragmatic approach to workload, delivering the best possible results with the resources available and a capacity to respond to changes in a plan. Ability to gather and analyse information from relevant sources, critically evaluating the information. Excellent customer-service skills. Awareness and appreciation of the service user.
