We specialise in pre-stressed and precast concrete products, including concrete storage tanks, bridge beams, culverts, retaining walls, A-frame buildings, tunnel segments and a range of domestic concrete products for waste water treatment and rainwater harvesting. Furthermore, bespoke concrete products can be designed and manufactured to any requirement by our in-house design and engineering departments. Due to the continuing growth and expansion of our existing site installation business and our expansion into the production and installation of precast concrete walls and offsite precast concrete frame solutions for construction industry, Shay Murtagh Group are seeking Precast General Operatives to join our Company. Key Responsibilities. •On-site set-out and layout for precast erection within a team. •Sling and install various precast components. •Ensure precast components are erected in correct process & procedure. •Grout, dry pack and shim precast components as required. •Load, unload and transport construction materials. •Other activities as requested by management. Qualifications & Key Skills. •Demonstrated Ability to read and write English. •Safety conscious. •Able to work well with a team. •Attention to detail and accuracy. •Reliable and highly motivated. •Welding experience a benefit. •3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar field is preferable. •All necessary and associated tickets required.
