Reporting to the Financial Controller with a dotted line to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the following; Preparation of group monthly management accounts for the German entity. Preparing the monthly financial reporting information for inclusion monthly financial reporting pack. Review and ensure compliance of monthly intercompany recharges. Monitoring and reviewing key financial data for the business to identify trends and support senior management in effectively reporting on the business. Ensuring compliance with Company financial systems and procedures to deliver consistent, accurate and robust financial information. Design and drive new processes to streamline practices across the group. Preparing, monitoring and reviewing annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Support continuous improvement of processes, procedures and reporting. Liaison with local Auditors and Regulatory bodies and third party bodies. Participating in ad hoc projects as required. This role will suit a very commercially minded newly qualified accountant. You will have trained as a chartered accountant (ACA) in a Big 4 / Top 10 firm and are seeking your first move into industry – in a commercial finance role. Experienced in the preparation of Management Accounts – Medical Device, Pharmaceutical experience a distinct advantage. Strong technical accounting background. Ability to be flexible in meeting changing priorities. Strong IT Skills and proficient in use of Excel. Flexibility to travel global. Ambitious, motivated with a desire for continuous improvement. Committed and motivated team player. Excellent organisational skills.
