Assistant Property Executive. Assist with all property related transactions and ensure they are completed efficiently, accurately and in compliance with all Legal and Internal Procedures; Work closely with the property legal executives in the preparation & formulation of transactions, instructing and liaising with external solicitors and closing legal agreements. Responsibilities. To work with the legal executives on a range of property transactions including acquisitions, sales, leases, licences, rights of way and wayleaves and assist with closing legal files, this includes interacting with clients and solicitors. To assist with procuring, appointing and instructing external solicitors, in order to complete, as efficiently as possible, all conveyance transactions to the satisfaction of both company and clients. To complete preparatory work on the various transactions including opening files, checking ownership, due diligence information etc. To assist the Property Executives with Lease revision requests i.e. consent for change of use, extension to Leases and Lease terminations etc. To work on and assist clients in occupation of lands or buildings who may seek to renegotiate lease terms and engage with Receivers/Liquidators to ensure the best outcome in these circumstances; To work on and assist with the resolution of property related debt and legally pursue where necessary; To assist with the ongoing review of legal documentation to ensure compliance with all approvals and procedures; To assist with all queries both internal and external relating to the existing IDA property portfolio and previously completed legal cases, sourcing and reviewing documentation where necessary; To maintain the Legal files to ensure compliance with procedures, standards, direction, and best business practices; To assist with reviewing and managing the existing Panel of Solicitors. To contribute to the Department as part of the Strategic Property Management Team; To ensure dignity, respect and equality are applied within and outside the Organisation and that a work life balance is supported as much as possible in the workplace; To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks that can arise or are assigned to this role. Essential Requirements: Ability to work well under pressure, flexibly and independently on own initiative; 3rd level business or related qualification, to a minimum of degree standard, or relevant property management, business or legal experience; Full driving licence is essential; Proven organisation skills with exceptional attention to detail is essential; Experienced IT Skills, including MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
