A global Medical Device organisation I am currently representing has a need for a Program Manager to join their fast paced manufacturing site in the Midlands, to lead, develop and manage a range of new projects due to ongoing expansion. The mission and focus for this company is to improve the lives of patients worldwide, by offering and delivering expertise in the development of best in class medical devices and health care products. The Role: You will be a highly motivated, performance driven individual with proven experience in program management, a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and confident in your ability to lead project teams to deliver on time and within budget. You will hit the ground running, and report directly in to the Director of Project Management. The Person: Manage the activities of one or more small scale programs, functional areas, or long term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes. Responsibility for cost saving, minimisation of risk, completion of objectives and resolving issues & ensuring the completion of project tasks by establishing priorities and reaching compromise with team members and functional managers. Providing regular updates of assigned projects to senior management in relation to project documentation, project plans, action items, registers and risks. Leading manufacturing/operation groups on core teams. Ensuring stakeholder buy in to meet project/program objectives and promote problem solving techniques within the group. Establishing program objectives, time lines, milestones and budgets. The Person: As the successful candidate, you will possess: Level 8 Degree in an Engineering or Technical/Manufacturing discipline. Proven project management skills with around 5 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Proven ability to deliver large complex technical projects on time.
