Description

Accounts Payable Assistant - County Westmeath. In this role your key responsibilities will be: • Maintenance of Accounts Payable Ledger Master Data. • Processing all invoices, credit notes. • Managing the supplier payment process. • Closing off the Accounts Payable Ledger in line with month-end and year-end timelines and procedures. • Reconciling key supplier accounts monthly. • Preparing Accounts Payable Ledger Reports as required by the Financial Controller. • Other duties that may be assigned by the Financial Controller. Skills and experience sought: • Previous experience in an Accounts Office – 2+ years. • A practical working knowledge of Financial Management Systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel. • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. • An adaptable and flexible attitude to work together with an ability to work under pressure and reprioritise workload in order to meet deadlines. • A proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision. • A positive, proactive approach to work in Finance. • Excellent attention to detail. • The ability to remain confidential at all times. Education and Qualifications. • Leaving certificate as minimum educational qualification. • Previous experience in a similar role with high volumes and a relevant qualification.
