Our client, global provider of medical technologies based in Westmeath, Looking to recruit a Senior Logistics Manager for the Global Transportation Control Tower. This role will be initially focused on the automation of manual tasks and the implementation of EDIs and e-Invoicing with the main suppliers. The Senior Manager will also oversee the smooth integration of the US Control Tower into the Control Tower in Westmeath. This role will suit someone that has experience in Global Logistics and excellent knowledge of SAP and implementing new SOP’s. Project management experience and interacting with 3PL’s is also necessary. Responsibilities: Implementing of E-Invoicing for all top suppliers and Manage the SAP interface. Roll out the Transport Dashboard functionality to all DCs. Proactively manage the day to day operations of the service providers. Monitor and provide analysis with commentary on Transport spend trends per mode, carrier, lane, and by CBM and weight. Develop a strong relationship with the Finance controllers. Lease with the Transport Manager. Experience: Bachelor of Logistics or International Transportation. MBA desirable. Minimum 10 years experience within an International Logistics environment essential. Extensive experience within SAP. Experience managing a team. Change Management Experience. Strong Knowledge requires of procedures and documentation for International transportation (Air, Road, Sea.
