This global leading Medical Devices organisation based in the Midlands employ highly experienced individuals focused on maximising the quality of their customers and meeting the needs of patients worldwide. This organisation has ongoing development, improvement and innovation happening and they are seeking a Senior Validation Supervisor to join their onsite team. The Role: As the Senior Validation Supervisor you will become the head of Validation at this organisation's site in the Midlands. As Head of Validation you will be directly involved in providing input and critical review and approval of all validation activities at the organisation's Midlands site. You will provide Validation expertise on medical device airway products. Key responsibilities: Lead Process, Software, Equipment, Utilities & Facilities Validation activities. Responsiblity for executing and summarising protocols for processing & laboratory equipment, facility systems, control systems & process validation typically associated with the manufacturing of medical device products. Responsibility for all calibration and risk management activities. Manage all validation personnel and validation activities. The Person: Degree or Masters level 8 in an Engineering/Science related discipline, with 8 years of relevant experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Ability to troubleshoot complex validation issues and apply advanced validation engineering and scientific principles to the design and implementation of process or system modifications, capital projects and technology transfer. Dynamic team player and leader and can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams. Possess strong understanding of engineering principles and their creative application on the job. Experience with Minitab or other statistical software packages is preferred. You should possess an in-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Quality System Regulations and ISO quality standards.
