What you need to know. You will work as an NPD Technologist for our client, a highly ambitious food manufacturing company in Galway . As an NPD Technologist , you will be responsible for ensuring food products are produced safely and are of the quality claimed. You could be involved in developing the manufacturing processes of our food products. The work may involve building relationships with suppliers and customers, as well as ensuring products are profitable. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: You will be responsible for checking and improving safety and quality control procedures. You will be researching current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product concepts. You will coordinate launches of new products or running trials alongside or together with product development; You will be working on packaging innovation, technology factory floor trials and product launches. You will take the lead in organising weekly product tastings. You will also be responsible for the development of co-ordinating with NPD, purchasing and technical. What are we looking for? 3rd Level Degree in Science/Technology. Exceptional working experience within an NPD environment. Food manufacturing would be advantageous. Understanding the current direction in core processes and nutrition. Have the ability to understand the requirements of both internal and external customers in order to stay above the competitors. Have the organisational skills to meet required deadlines in a timely fashion in this fast-paced environment. Desirable. Manufacturing experience essential.
