What you need to know. You will work as an Engineering Compliance Manager for our client, a highly successful Pharmaceutical company in Galway . You will be responsible for maintaining procedures and guidelines to ensure that the industry regulations are met. You will partner with Subject Matters Experts (SME’s) to create procedures for the maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, software and cleanroom validations. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: You will provide guidance on compliance matters in accordance with ISO13485, 21 CFR and Corporate Quality Standards. You will develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues. Draft, modify and implement company policies. You will establish a system to support analysis for CAPA’s, MIR’s and Technical Services. Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control. Assess program performance and aim to maximise continuous improvement, maintaining reports and KPI’s. You will guide your team in providing assistance in internal and external audits. What are we looking for? Third level Degree in Engineering/Science or related discipline. At least 7-10 years’ working experience in a Quality/Validation role. Proven experience in problem solving techniques i.e. DMAIC is an advantage. Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities. A strong and energetic team player who can work efficiently in this fast-paced environment. Desirable. Proficient in MS Office i.e. PowerPoint/Excel/Word. People and Project Management experience.
